Ceasar Owner and Lead Tattoo Artist Black Ink Crew
Ceaser is the owner and founder of Black Ink in Harlem. The tattoo parlor was started by him a few years ago. Ceaser seems to be the playboy of the cast obviously he is the most decent looking person in the show. The cast is filled with girls and guys with jacked up mouths, gritty tattoos all over their bodies and heads that ain’t been brushed since Slaves were freed.
When I saw the first trailer which showed Puma with his mouth open and the front missing tooth I thought Black Ink Crew was a drug rehab program. There were clips of girls kissing girls and extreme foul and ratchetness all up in there. But after watching Ceaser explain himself there was a sense of normalcy that he bought to the new series.
Ceasar has big goals and ambitions for the spot. His goal for the shop is the be an emblematic landmark of the city. He wants to have the same status as Apollo theater in Harlem. His last tattoo He decided he didn’t want to hustle anymore.
When he was 18 he got his first tattoo. He was one of the only ones of his friends who didn’t have one. He sat in the tattoo shop for hours and couldn’t decide. He had been staring at a wall full of flash art and posters. The tattoo artist asked was he ready? He chose the first thing that he pointed too. It was a dragon. After it was done his homeboy started clowning him cause he didn’t realize he got the Mortal Kombat symbol. Yikes!
Right now he has a net worth $200,000. He is currently getting paid $5,000 per episode from VH1 and an extra $20,000 a season to allow crew to film inside his shop.
